DubMeNow Launched and provides Mobile Business Cards

DubMeNow has launched. Registration is easy, free and fast. You can exchange your contact information with others through your phone without the need for a business card exchange. One benefit is the fact that you never have to update their information. Once they change jobs, phone number, or other contact information through Dub, everyone who has their contact information is automatically updated.

You verify your phone via email or text message. Text message will allow you to receive the invitation faster, depending on the setup of your email. Simply click the link to verify, then choose to receive the link to download the application via email or text message. I downloaded the application fairly quickly. You can then enter your information in the “My Card” tab.

Now that you have the application on your phone you enter your same name and password as you created online and you are live. The phone interface is very intuitive and easy to use. You can view and edit your card, review your contacts and invite others by entering an email or phone number. I assume when I meet someone that also uses Dub I can simply type in their phone number, a text (or email based on their preferences) message is sent, they accept and we now have each others information.
