Potomac Techwire Internet 2009 Outlook was a Great Event

Potomac Techwire put on their second event this year entitled Internet Outlook 2009. It is tough to find good events in this area, particularly related to online businesses, startups, and investment. Potomac Techwire has found, in my opinion, the perfect mix of before and after networking with excellent panel discussions moderated by the editor of Potomac Techwire.

This panel had:

  • Jonathan Aberman, Managing Director, Amplifier Networks
  • Phil Bronner, General Partner, Novak Biddle Venture Partners
  • Luis Derechin, CEO and Co-Founder, JackBe
  • Hooman Radfar, CEO & Co-founder, ClearSpring
  • Mark Walsh, CEO, GeniusRocket
  • Moderator – Paul Sherman, Editor, Potomac Tech Wire

If you only have time for a couple events each year, put these on your list, the best the area has to offer.

It was a very interesting morning. The discussion was refreshingly straightforward; the panelists made a genuine effort to skip the slang, and instead spoke about the interplay of innovation and economics. Good informal discussions afterward as well. Worth the trip and the time.

I really enjoyed the panel too. These guys are all great to work with and Paul always puts together a good program. I would encourage you to check out Amplifier’s online community for entreprneurship http://amplifiernetwork.ibelong.com/Pages/Layouts/GroupPage.aspx?SiteId=2213&PersistentTheme=amplifier and also check out our Amplifier Business Accelerator Program.
