Virtustream of Washington DC Secures $25 Million Equity Financing

Virtustream, of Washington, DC, received funding of $25 Million. They are (to quote from their site)

an infrastructure services firm committed to helping clients actualize the enterprise cloud by providing strategy, integration and managed services leveraging virtualization technologies, and our proprietary, secure platform.

They are headquartered in Washington, D.C., the privately held company also has offices in London, Dublin and the Channel Islands. I think if I had a company this successful I would probably put an office in the islands as well, it is probably a very important and strategic office.

One of the funders is Columbia Capital, based in Virginia. Glad to see an East Coast fund an East Coast.
