Dub raises $2.8M in Funding for Their Mobile Application DubMeNow

dublogoVienna, Va, February 22, 2010 – DubMeNow (Dub), a mobile software solution for exchanging business cards and instantaneously managing contact information bumped up a $2.8 Million in funding for their Mobile Business Card Sharing software. The funding was leaded by Syncom Ventures along with other undisclosed investors.

DubMeNow, the mobile app has been downloaded nearly 1 million times and is currently partnering with DataTel and Moodle to reach more users especially in the education sector. Datatel currently is the 3rd largest ERP for universities while Moodle is the leading CMS for educational institutions. With this tie up, DubMeNow will have the capability of reaching up to 1,000 universities. This will give DubMeNow a headway to its competitors such as Bump, the current leader of information sharing application in the mobile phones.

DubMeNow CEO Manoj Ramnani believes that the partnerships and real revenues will serve  Dub better in the long-term.
