AOL Lost $1 Billion in Q2
August 4, 2010 – AOL, Inc., a global advertising web company announced it’s more than $1 billion loss during their Q2 2010 results press release. According to the Q2 2010 results, the majority of loss came from the selling of social networking site BEBO and instant messaging ICQ.
AOL purchased BEBO in 2008 for $850 Million and was sold to Criterion Capital Partners for less than $10 million last June 17.
